25θεῖναι εἰς τὸ ἱερόν· τοὺς δὲ ἐπιμε–

32δὲ τόδε τὸ ψήφισμα ἐν στήληι λιθί–
33νει καὶ στῆσαι ἐν τῶι ἱερῶι τὸν κα–
34τὰ πρυτανείαν γραμματέα· εἰς δὲ τ<ὴ>–
35ν ἀναγραφὴν τῆς στήλης δοῦναι τὸ–

9des Volkes; Phanodemos S.d. Diyllos aus (dem Demos)
10Thymaitadai stellte den Antrag: zu Glück und Heil des
11Volkes der Athener, da der Gott
12in guter Weise Sorge trägt für die die Athener
13und die anderen, die zum Heiligtum
14kommen, zu Gesundheit und Heil
15aller im Lande, (wolle man beschließen:) dass man
16Amphiaraos bekränze mit goldenem Kranz
17vom 1000 Drachmen Wert und der Herold
18des Volkes verkünde: “Das Volk der Athener
19bekränzt den Amphiaraos mit goldenem
20Kranz vom 1000 Drachmen Wert!”; dass
21das Geld für den Kranz der
22Schatzmeister der Militär-Kasse gebe
23und den angefertigten Kranz übergebe
24den Verantwortlichen, um ihn in das
25Heiligtum zu weihen; dass die Verantwortlichen,
26wenn sie verkündet haben, was
27das Volk beschlossen hat, im Heiligtum den
28Kranz dem Gott weihen zu Gesundheit und
29Heil des Volkes der Athener
30und der Kinder und Frauen und aller
31im Lande; dass diesen Beschluss
32aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele
33und aufstelle in das Heiligtum der
34Sekretär, der während der Prytanien amtiert; dass für die
35Aufzeichnung auf die Stele der Schatzmeister
36des Volkes 20 Drachmen gibt aus
37dem Dekret-Fonds

3the ninth prytany, of Erechtheis, for which
4Aristonous son of Aristonous of Anagyrous
5was secretary. On the eleventh; the twenty-
6third of the prytany. Principal
7Assembly. Of the presiding committee
8Epichares of Hagnous was putting to the vote. The People
9decided. Phanodemos son of Diyllos of Thymaitadai
10proposed: for the good fortune
11of the Athenian People, since the god
12takes good care of those Athenians
13and others who come to
14the sanctuary, for the health and preservation
15of all those in the country, to crown
16Amphiaraos with a gold crown
17of 1,000 drachmas; and the herald of the People
18shall announce that the Athenian
19People crowns Amphiaraos with a gold
20crown of 1,000 drachmas; and
21the treasurer of the military fund
22shall give the money for the crown,
23and shall hand over the crown,
24once made, to the managers, to dedicate
25in the sanctuary; and the
26managers, having announced what has been decreed
27to the People in the sanctuary, shall dedicate
28the crown to the god for the health
29and preservation of the Athenian People
30and the children and women and
31everything in the country;
32and the prytany secretary shall inscribe
33this decree on a stone stele
34and stand it in the sanctuary;
35and for inscribing the stele the treasurer
36of the People shall give 20 drachmas
37from the People’s fund for expenditure
38on decrees.
